Trinidad is a town in the province of Sancti Spiritus, central Cuba. The total area is 1157.49 square kilometers with population is 73,287 and density is 63.43 per square kilometers. Trinidad was founded in 1514 by Diego Velazquez de Cuellar under the name Villa De la Santisima Trinidad.
